WHO WE ARE

I’m Jean-Emmanuel. I grew up in France in the 80s, where music was part of everyday life — radio, records, friends, late nights. I wasn’t trained in a conservatory; I learned by listening. The bands that shaped me early on were The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie, The Smiths — music with atmosphere and emotion that felt personal.

I started out as a DJ, first at small local parties and then in clubs across France, London, Tokyo, Osaka, and Berlin. Those years taught me how sound shapes energy — how music can shift a room or a mood. After that period, I moved toward studio work, wanting to focus more on tone and emotional detail. I studied mixing and mastering at Dubspot in New York and Point Blank in London, and began working with artists in electronic, indie, and rock scenes.

Today I live and work in Winston-Salem, where I record, mix, and master music with a simple approach: warm, natural sound that reflects the artist. I’m collaborative and calm in the studio. The goal isn’t to change who you are — it’s to help your music sound like you, clearly and confidently.
